    Friday, November 11th: Meeting Information

This Friday, we will have our normal meeting at 7:30. However, we are going to be preparing for the upcoming hiking trip. We ask that scouts bring their pack fully packed. We want to be able to help them prepare for the trip now instead of on the trail. Also, if you are going on the trip, you need to bring the permission slip signed to the meeting.

    Meeting: Friday, November 4th

This Friday, we will be having our normal meeting at 7:30. However, there will be no uniforms due to this Sunday’s Pancake Breakfast. We will be learning about winter camping as well as this month’s knot, the Two Half Hitches. We again ask that all scouts attend this Sunday’s Pancake Breakfast, our largest fundraiser of the year.

Pancake Breakfast and Chinese Auction Reminder

    Dear Parents/Guardians and Scouts,
This Sunday, November 6th is our annual Pancake Breakfast and Chinese Auction. It is our troop’s biggest fundraiser and we must all work together to make it a success.
At the first meeting in September all families chose a gift basket to provide for the auction. The committee asked that all baskets be turned in by this past Friday, our Court of Honor.

As of now, less than half of our families have done this.

    Please note the following:

    • All baskets must be brought to the meeting Friday night, November 4th and given to Lisa Naughton or Lisa Holland.
    • All baskets must be assembled and wrapped. The committee will not accept unwrapped items as it only adds to the work that needs to be done in preparation for this event.
    • Baskets will not be accepted after this meeting.

Set up for this event will take place on Saturday, November 5th beginning at 6:30 PM in the gym. Please make every effort to have your son help set up.

I would personally ask that any parents who are available, that you please donate some time to the Troop and help out at set up and/or at the breakfast. There is much to be done.

All Scouts are expected to participate in this fundraiser.

Parents and Scouts please be sure to check in with Mr. Dave Jakubowski at the 50/50 table – he will be taking the attendance of those who participate.
Thank you for your cooperation in making our breakfast a success.

    Very Respectfully,
    Mike Di Trani
