Eagle Project for Gary Carr, Saturday, June 23rd

Dear Friends and Fellow Members of Troop 37,

My name is Gary Carr and I have been a member of Pack and Troop 37 for the past 12 years. And now it is time for me to have my Eagle Project.

As every scout should know, a scout wishing to obtain the rank of Eagle Scout must first do a service project for his community. This is known as an Eagle Project and this is where I could really use some help.

My Eagle Project involves making a memorial garden to honor the troops in my parish that have died serving in the armed forces. The garden would be full of a variety of colorful flowers and in the center would go a plaque commemorating this garden and dedicating it to the solders.

As you can imagine, a project like this is going to require some teamwork and that is where you guys come in.

Anyone wanting to help me on this project should come prepared with clothes they aren’t afraid to get dirty as well as a pair of work gloves. Anyone who would be willing to help bring some gardening tools from home, that would be awesome.

I would recommend if you did so that your labeled your name on tape on the tool so that at the end you can get it back without mixing up tools.

The Project starts at 8:30 a.m Saturday June 23rd, 2012. Thank you for your time and I hope to see you there!

Yours Truly,

Gary Carr
