CANCELLED – WEATHER CALL
A Winter Storm Watch has been posted for most NJ counties for Friday night through Sunday morning Winds may gust to 20-35 mph inland and 50-60 mph at the coast. Snow totals are forecasted to be greatest in SouthWest NJ and lowest along the coast and in the north.
Impacts may include travel hazards, high winds, coastal flooding and cold temps. Coastal locations should be prepared for moderate to major flooding. Power outages may occur with high winds and heavy, wet snow accumulation on trees and power lines. Flooded and icy roadways and snow will create slippery areas on untreated roads and sidewalks.
Reimbursements will be made at a future date.

The Troop 37 “EVE of the EVE” will take place the night before New Year’s Eve (Tomorrow Night) Wednesday Evening, December 30th in Saint Teresa’s Lower Chudrch Hall from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
In light of recent events I believe this could be an opportunity for getting everyone together for pizza and/or hero’s for Dinner, and this would also be a time for all of us to just hang out together being so many recent Eagle Scouts are home for winter vacation.
If everyone brings their favorite board game, (Chess, Monopoly, Risk, etc.) deck of Cards or whatever, it would be like a Wednesday night in the TTK pavilion at Hawk Mountain.
No Uniforms required but if you want to feel like you are at Hawk you can wear a Hawaiian Shirt or your “Class B”T-shirt. Sorry No brass hook / ring on a string game area.
It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the untimely passing of our most recent Eagle Scout, Fred Fischer. Fred passed away sometime during the night of December 20th at home.
Fred was a kind and gentle soul and just made Eagle earlier this month. Please keep the Fischer Family in your thoughts and prayers.
Friends will be received at Harmon Funeral Home on Sunday, December 27th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Harmon Funeral Home

Each year, Troop 37 helps support our community by being of service to those in need and one way we do that is by serving at the “Church of the Ascension Luncheon”.
Now your thinking….”But that’s next year?“. Well, you are correct, but it’s never too early to begin. You can start now by collecting the needed toiletries and bringing them to a Troop meeting or dropping them off at the Lattanzio home.

On Friday night we all come to the meeting at regular time with our packs already packed. We distribute all our food and equipment by Patrols and then into everyone’s pack. (We are not bringing Patrol Boxes) Next we will have a shakedown inspection of everyone’s equipment and pack. We then watch a movie hang out have some snacks and that night we sleep over in the lower church hall. We wake up the next morning have bagels and OJ for breakfast and then hike the greenbelt blue trail to pouch camp. When we arrive at Pouch Camp we drop our packs eat lunch have some patrol competitions, some training, hang out, and then have a campfire. On Saturday night we sleep over in lean-tos so there are no tents to set up or take down and the next morning sometime after breakfast we hike back to the shed.
