We’re glad you have taken a moment of your time to check out this part of the troop website. Religion is an extremely important part of all of our lives and certainly an important part of the Scouting program. Through the grace of God, Boy Scout Troop 37 is committed to providing opportunities for each member of the troop to enhance their religious beliefs regardless of their religious preferences and background.
One of the ways BSA and Troop 37 do this is through the Religious Emblem Program. The Troop Chaplain will assist all scouts in the pursuit of their religion’s religious emblem. Click the following link for information on the Religious Emblem Program.
We are committed to upholding the principles of the Scout Oath:
“On my honor, I will do my duty to God and my country, to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times, to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.”
and Scout Law:
“A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courtesy, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent.”
If you have any prayer requests or would like to share with any of the chaplain’s staff, you can contact us by sending an email to Troop Chaplain.
